Lot 4126 PERK 1854 DATED BRITISH HATCHET.
This hatchet has a few illegible markings but the makers stamp appears to be "PERKS". Other side of axe appears to be marked "HSB / 1854". Length: 15 3/4". Width of head: 8". Cutting edge: 2 3/4" long. CONDITION: the head has a uniform dark oxidized patina. The oak haft is a bit dry but remains quite solid. (02-23317/MD). $200-250.
